Elektrilevi and Enefit are the newest residents in the Green Park business and residential district. Their recently opened office building will serve as the companies' Southern Estonian branches, providing much-needed space for 150 employees across more than 3000 square metres. Mapri Ehitus built the cutting-edge business centre, while Kadarik Tüür Architects provided the architectural services and PIN Architects the interior design.
The Mayor of Tartu Urmas Klaas, Member of the Eesti Energia Management Board in the field of sales and service of solutions for customers Kelli Toss-Kaasik, Chairman of the Elektrilevi Management Board Mihkel Härm, Green Park developer Cesana Group chairman Raul Jeets and Mapri Ehitus sales manager Margus Väärsi cut the ribbon for the new office building.
"With the new office, we are taking the next step on our sustainability journey, offering an environment for work that meets the principles of a green office and encourages innovation and cooperation," said Kelli Toss-Kaasik. "We also open Enefit's customer service to be closer to customers and offer face-to-face communication to everyone who needs it," she added.
"The staff of Elektrilev are responsible for the well-being of practically every resident of Estonia. As a result, we place a high value on providing employees with pleasant and modern working conditions that are tailored to the peculiarities of our work. Elektrilevi's operative electrician brigades now have a nice rest room for on-call duty and the option of a speedy dispatch," stated Mihkel Härm.
The Roheline Street office features 150 workstations and 60 parking spaces, with Volt electric car chargers installed in one-third of them. Elektrilevi's customer service is also located inside the building.
Raul Jeets, head of the Green Park team, is glad that Estonia's largest corporation has found a home in the park: "The arrival of an energy firm brings with it a lot of positive energy." Jeets believest that the Green Park's nine-hectare space combines life and business activities, making it a convenient location for living, working, and having fun.
Mapri Ehitus has constructed multiple buildings in the Green Park. According to sales manager Margus Väärsi, the construction on Roheline Street 16/18 was a natural result of previous collaboration. "Beautiful buildings at the entrance to Tartu give those arriving the first glimpse of the modern city. As the entire park grows in the coming years, it will turn into a remarkable landmark for Tartu."
In addition to Elektrilevi and Enefit, the Green Park is home to Gardest, the largest home and gardening centre in the Baltic States, Intrac, a supplier of industrial and agricultural equipment, and Dimedium, Estonia's oldest wholesaler of veterinary drugs and consumables. Furthermore, The offices of the agricultural group Agrone, the telecommunications company Tele2 and the IT company Oixio are located in the Park.
